Areas of Focus
When most people think about change, it can seem scary and overwhelming. We fear what could happen if we change. We fear the unknown. So, we get comfortable in our lives doing things the way we have always done them. We fall back on old patterns and habits because they feel familiar. But, feeling not quite right in your life, usually means something needs to change. My philosophy on creating lasting change begins with creating a safe environment to explore where you are and where you want to be. I believe change occurs when we explore the complicated aspects of life that make us who we are.
Working with me will include examining parts of your inner self that have formed over time and evaluate how those parts continue to keep us from progressing. We will look into how patterns formed, what emotions might be trapped with our habits, releasing of pain from the past, gaining strength to manage future struggles, and shifting thinking and behaviors to create meaningful change. Working with me will allow you to identify modification points in your thinking and create new ways to be who you want to be.
