“I empower clients to challenge unhelpful narratives and embrace personal values that resonate with their true selves.”

Areas of Focus

My passion lies in nurturing the crucial relationship we have with ourselves, a connection that often is overlooked and strained. My mission is to help individuals learn to listen, trust, and care for themselves, as I firmly believe that self-awareness and respect can have a profound positive impact on our wider social communities.

Just as a flower follows the sun, our emotions guide us toward what we find meaningful and safe. Helping people embrace these “stuck” emotions without judgment can lead to a deeper understanding of ourselves and our desires. Communicating emotions, needs, fears, and boundaries effectively is essential for building healthy relationships. By empowering people to develop these skills, we can spark transformative change in partnerships, friendships, families, and communities. I recognize that various obstacles can hinder contentment in a relationship, such as grief, betrayal, or the challenges of raising young children. Even in cases where couples choose to part ways, the tools and insights gained from marriage and family counseling can continue to benefit individuals, extending their positive influence outward to the community.

With a deep commitment to cultural sensitivity, my aim is to foster a warm, harmonious, and inclusive environment where clients can openly express themselves and be truly heard. Recognizing that each person”s journey is unique, I strive to create a collaborative space that strikes a balance between comfort and growth, laughter and tears, and connection and boundaries.

Drawing from Experiential Therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy, I use a here and now approach to help people work through their “stuck” emotions. By shedding light on societal expectations and systems that influence our lives, I hope to empower clients to challenge unhelpful narratives and embrace personal values that resonate with their true selves. Through this therapeutic journey, I aspire to help clients tap into their inner strength and courageously live out their authentic values.

My aspiration is to equip my clients with the ability to shape the trajectory of their relationships through intentional time, active listening, and effective communication. Together, we can pave the way for stronger, more fulfilling connections and a greater sense of contentment in life.
